Jammu & Kashmir : Yes you hear it right, again landslide in Vaishno Devi Temple. as we all know every year rainfall occurs in the mountains, which means causes a lot of damage and even takes lives. this year too, the same has happened, and this time it occured in Vaishno Devi Temple.
Every year all the pillgrims gone to Jammu & Kashmir for take the blessing from Maa Vaishno Devi. but the heavy rain and landslide came on the pilgrimage route on August 26 2025.
This tragic incident happend near the hotal called Indraprastha Bhojnalya at Ardhkuwari, its about the midway through the around 12km trek from katra.
According to sources, 30 people lost their lives, and more than 20 people were injured. heavy monsoon rain in Vaishno Devi Temple trigered a terrific incident.
The rescue team including – local police, NDRF, Shrine Board Staff and Army reached the location and started the search operation. the pilgrimage was suspended, and all the trains were cancelled due to the bad incident.
Our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Our President Mr. Droupadi Murmu are concerned and expressed the grief for the loss of lives.
