On 12th September 2025, C.P. Radhakrishnan took oath as Vice President of India. This oath was held in the presence of President Droupadi Murmu ji at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Radhakrishnan became Vice President after winning the election on 9th September 2025. He achieved victory with 452 votes. Looking at the votes, the support of the people was clearly visible. C.P. Radhakrishnan was the NDA candidate and his opponent was B. Sudershan Reddy.
About C.P. Radhakrishnan
C.P. Radhakrishnan was born in Tirupati, Tamil Nadu on 4 May 1957. He was a very good student and during his school days he had also joined RSS. Before becoming Vice President, he was the Governor of Maharashtra.

On 9th September 2025, C.P. Radhakrishnan achieved victory in the election and on 12th September 2025 he took the oath in Delhi at Rashtrapati Bhavan in front of President Droupadi Murmu. In this event, many well-known top leaders of India were present.
