These three men came to the bank pretending to be customers and said they wanted to open an account. Using this excuse, they found a chance and overpowered all the employees including the manager and cashier and started threatening them.
They forcibly made the bank staff open lockers and then took everything and left.

From the police statement, it is known that these thieves took about ₹1.05 crore cash and 20 kilograms of gold, whose value is around ₹19–20 crore.
So overall, about ₹20–21 crore was robbed from the SBI bank in Karnataka.
