But this year people also made posters saying “I love Mohammad” and chanted this slogan, which became a major cause of the issue.

In Gaya, Bihar, there has been a lot of tension regarding this poster, and the police have also arrested some people.

In Bareilly, on Friday, a fight broke out between the police and some Muslims. It is heard that those people also threw stones at the police, after which the police carried out a lathi charge.
Avinash Singh said that the situation in Bareilly is now much better and under control. But still, the clashes have not completely stopped, and anything can happen anytime.
Along with this, in states like Uttarakhand, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, this issue has also become very big.

Police Action after this controversy

As soon as the “I love Mohammad” videos went viral, the police took action.

Varanasi police registered cases against 20+ minors because they were marching with this poster without permission.
In Sitapur more than 100 people were booked for organizing the march.
In Auraiya the police removed such posters.
FIRs have been filed against several people for disturbing peace and unlawful assembly.

Yogi Adityanath’s Strong reaction on I love Mohammad Case

This case became so big that Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself had to speak on the matter and he gave a strong statement.

‘No one can disturb peace.’ He warned such people that no one can disturb the peace of Uttar Pradesh by such actions. He further said, ‘they perhaps do not know who rules here.’
Yogi Adityanath called the “I love Mohammad” posters a planned conspiracy. He said some groups are deliberately doing this and trying to spread unrest.
He also said ‘Habitual law-breakers must go through denting and painting’; with this statement he warned that offenders will be given the strictest punishment.
Yogi, without naming anyone, said ‘some Maulanas have forgotten who rules here and in whose hands power is.’
Yogi ji said that it is festival season and it should be celebrated with great joy and peace. Anyone who tries to spoil our festivals will be crushed.

Reactions of political groups

BJP supported Yogi Adityanath ji and praised Uttar Pradesh’s law and order system.
Opposition leaders accused the government of targeting the religion of one community. Mixed views are appearing on social media — some praise Yogi’s action while others criticize it.
Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi, while supporting those who put up posters in Kanpur, said that everyone has the full right to follow their own religion, and there is nothing wrong in it, but it is being made into such a big issue. This is a festival of Muslim people which they were celebrating peacefully, but some people have spoiled it too.
