According to sources, it was found that this incident happened in an engineering college in Bengaluru where a 21-year-old boy raped a girl.

The accused first called the victim to the men’s washroom for some work. When the girl went there, the accused forcefully sexually harassed her.

The girl went into complete shock after what happened to her. Somehow she gathered courage, came out of the washroom, and informed her friends about it. Her friends immediately informed the college authority and the police were called.

The police started the investigation and found that the victim and the accused knew each other and were classmates. The victim had rejected the boy’s proposal, and because of that, the boy did such a disgusting act to take revenge on her.

When the police came to know about it, they filed a case against the accused under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code. Along with this, all the sections related to rape were also charged.

The washroom area was sealed, and forensic analysis was conducted. Later, the police also recorded the victim’s statement and sent her for medical examination.
