On Friday in Bareilly, this matter became very big and created chaos among people of bareilly. the internet connection was also shut down there from 3 o’clock so that people could not influenced by social media.
The controversy of I love Mohammad started from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh and because of some political leaders and social media, it slowly spread to all districts of U.P.
The biggest issue was made in Bareilly. There, because of these posters and slogans, FIR was filed against more than 2000 people.

Muslims every year celebrate one of their festivals in which they do procession. They march, raise slogans, and make posters, but this time they did the procession in a different way.
In this, they made posters of I Love Mohammad and wrote slogans which created trouble for many people and this was not a common thing. First, some political leaders raised their voice on this and after that this news slowly spread everywhere.
To spreading this news, social media also had a big role because once a thing comes on social media then it goes viral everywhere.
The I Love Mohammad case also spread in many districts of Uttar Pradesh and not only in Uttar Pradesh but also in all four corners of India this news came, which made this controversy very big.
Some people supported this and said that this is a normal thing and there is no need to make such a big issue of this.
On the other hand, people were completely against this and said this is being done to disturb peace.

In Bareilly this controversy became very serious. This case started on Friday when people were praying Jumma Namaz.
In some areas of Bareilly, some supporters were marching like this with these slogans and posters on the roads.
They were also demanding that no action should be taken on this.
Along with this, many supporters of I Love Mohammad gathered because of which police had to get involved.
When police moved forward to stop them, those people started throwing stones on them so to defend their selves police also had to do lathi charge.
Violence in Bareilly due to Mohammad Case
Supporters of I Love Mohammad were seen doing protest more than procession there. a huge crowd gathered and that’s why police also had to come there and stop them. But those people were not ready to listen, they started attacking the police itself. Protesters started throwing stones on the police and then police also had to do lathi charge.
Both protesters and police got injured and the situation there became very bad.
The video of this incident spread like fire on social media because of which there was chaos in the whole India. A peaceful protest turned into heavy violence.
Police Action
- FIR was registered against more than 2000 people. These people disturbed peace and also damaged many properties.
- Leader of Ittehad-e-Millat, Tauqeer Raza Khan, was immediately arrested with some of his supporters.
- After such a big case, more than 30 people were detained.
- Section 144 was imposed in Bareilly.
- Along with local police, paramilitary forces were also deployed in many areas of Bareilly.

Political Reaction
Because of the arrest of Tauqeer Raza Khan, this controversy is increasing more.
Raza Khan and his supporters said this is unfair, we were only protesting peacefully.
Police answering this said that because of Tauqeer Raza’s speeches, people were provoked and because of that this issue became so big.
Many other political leaders supported this by saying that celebrating one’s festival is not a bad thing. Every religion has the right to celebrate their festival, there was nothing so wrong in this, that it was made such a big issue.
Some opposition leaders are completely against this. They said that this was not any protest or procession but a well-planned conspiracy to disturb peace.

Yogi Adityanath ji said that no one can disturb our peace. If anyone tries, they will get the strictest punishment.
From the I Love Mohammad case it is clear that one small spark can become the reason of a very big fire. A protest that was being done peacefully turned into such a big and scary form, no one thought of this.
Right now the situation in Bareilly is fine but it will take some more time for everything to become completely normal.
